Cycling at East Coast Park

Keeping up with our outdoorsy weekends, we spent the last Sunday evening cycling at Singapore’s East Coast Park. It turned out to be a lot of fun actually.

It’s a very nice park with lots of things to do. One can walk, jog, cycle, skate, fish, eat, drink, BBQ, camp, play volleyball, even wakeboard or go upto the beach!

We rented cycles from PCN Pit Stop at the rate of S$ 6 for an hour. People can also rent two seater cycles, cycles with baby seat or 6-8 seater rickshaws.

We rented for 2 hours and pedaled around at a leisurely pace enjoying the seaside views and the greenery. We stopped by a couple of times – once at Bedok Jetty and a couple of other spots along the way. On our way back, we halted at a nice little cafe called Sunset Bay for some snacks and chilled drinks. It’s at a great spot facing the sea and very pleasant in the evening with the breeze blowing. All in all, it was another evening well spent @ECP! Planning more such activities in Singapore. Will keep posting πŸ™‚
